SOCIAL SECURITY STATEMENTS
The Social Security Administration mails statements. The mailing of statements had been phased out in 2011 in an effort to save money. However, in 2014 Congress passed a bill requiring Social Security to begin mailing the statements once again. Workers can now expect to receive paper statements in the mail every five years starting a few months before they turn 25. Once someone turns 60 they will come every year.
